Jelenia Góra, Poland, Oct 3, 2006 - In August 2006, Arctic Paper Kostrzyn S.A. expanded the contract with PMP concerning PM1 modernization. Just to remind, that after successful PM2 press section modernization provided by PMP in 2004, in May this year, both partners signed the following contract this time for PM1 press section revamp. Last month, both parties agreed to addtionally modernized PM1 dryer section. PM1 produces high quality offset and graphic papers.
Aftre expandind of the contract, except for the 2nd press configuration modification and the delivery of new press rolls, the scope of supply covers modification of the 1sr dryer group to increase drying capacity. As the result of modernization, both the press and dryer sections will be adjusted to higher working speeds to enable the machine capacity increase in the future.
