Fabryka Papieru Myszków, southern Poland, has signed a contract with PMP for a replacement headbox on its PM6. The mill produces standard newsprint and printing grades. The 5.704 m-wide hydraulic Intelli-Jet V™ headbox with Consistency Profiiling system has a design speed of 850 m/min and will be made antirely of stainless steel. The main goals of the project are axcellent formation, better printability and mechanical properites of the paper, as well as a capacity increase.
